Is life more stressful with a PCP ??

Base spec beemers and Audis are probably some of the worst offenders for aggressive driving in my (albeit anecdotal) experience, I just wonder how much of that is down to the drivers being under more pressure to make their lease and finance payments each month than someone who just buys cash and so doesn't have to worry. If you're calm, you drive calmly, keeping up with new build neighbours on finance is harder work ?

What? 
I've just taken on my first lease vehicle, it's going to cost me just a little bit more than the maintenance and depreciation over the same period on the car I'm replacing (BMW Z4)
At least with Lease I know what cost I'll be paying and can get work completed under warranty rather than an unexpected maintenance bill
That being said I'll drive the new car in the same was as the old one!

You'd be silly to drop 30,40,50k on a brand new car anyway in this day and age. the money can much better be used investing or going towards a mortgage etc.
If you can get low/zero interest finance. Its a no brainer.
Not that anyone should buy brand new anyway, the depreciation should be more than enough to put most people off and that can't be avoided, finance OR cash.

Don’t meen to feed the negativity . But whilst installing security equipment on a very nice site that provides high end motors I over heard some astronomical interest rates that were agreed to would certainly make your eyes water which may impede your driving ability 34.9% on 40k lone

So where would the cars come from then? No new cars sold = no new cars made, no new cars made = no cars at all and no automotive industry. I don't think you've thought this through.
Obviously some people will always buy brand new, there will always be a need for new cars, I meant more in regards to my advice to anyone who asked about if they should buy new or used.
On the flipside I doubt anyone goes out and buys a new car because they want to give people who dont buy new something to drive when they are done

Properly scary! There are the folk who PCP because it suits their needs and have weighed up the pros & cons of PCP, then there are the folk who just have to keep up with the crowd and 'need' to have the best looking, newest car on the drive despite the fact it's crippling them to 'look good'. Folk mock the lower food chain for buying their white goods / furniture from the likes of BrightHouse etc. but look at what is happening a bit further up the food chain, the same principle, lots of fancy stuff all on PCP, big mortgage and credit carded up to the eyeballs. People no longer save for goods anymore, and are too impatient and want 'it' now rather than wait until they can actually afford 'it' or make do with what they can afford. All about image and how they look sadly

Except where people want to modify their cars, or don't like monthly payments, or don't like paying interest.....etc.If you can get low/zero interest finance. Its a no brainer.

I do think they secretly love cars though, every time I drive past a pack or even a stand-alone mamil, making sure to give it maximum revs on the down change (so they can enjoy hearing the exhaust overrun) their arms always go up as if waving, I like to think they’re saying “go faster!”
