Audi models?????

Is it just me being thick and not down with the yoof or do other people struggle to know what the audi model designations 35,40 etc mean?

the bigger the number the more power it has

the sales bull is that it allows ICE, hybrid and EV powerplants to be compared

I get why they have done it but I would rather know what engine is actually in the car. I thought a 40 might be quite high up but it’s actually just a 2 litre diesel.

engine sizes are all over the place, a 1 litre producing 140 hp, add in a hybrid platform and it could easily be producing 200 hp...

so this tidily 1.0 litre against a 2.0 diesel the badges at the back would be worthless but a badge that gives indication of power would be better. Remember Audi dropped the engine sizes but has brought this back in as they realised that buyers want the engine size displayed.
