First lease coming to an end, when to look for next deal?
Discussion
Evening all,
Having received great advice here before taking out my first lease on a Citroen C3, I thought I’d ask a follow up as the car is due to be collected in mid June.
When should I be looking to do a deal and order my next vehicle as having a gap between collection of the C3 and delivery of the next car isn’t really an option? (it’s the family car, I punt a leggy Ignis Sport 25k a year for the rat race!)
I’m looking at something like a Hyundai Sportage as we have two small kids and I can’t sell the mrs on an estate.
Thanks

Hi you'll be better of just following the lease deals thread which is a few posts above!
I think you very are close to missing the window for a new lease with a personal build spot for a June delivery, you may find that you are having to look for deals that there is stock currently available or build spots that have already been pre-secured and are due to complete in June.
You often get some competitive deals on new in stock vehicles, however the spec could be not quite what you want, if you can live with that then its no problem!!

If yuo look on the leasing.co.uk website you will be able to see which cars are actually in stock. I would imagine if you want any VAG car that is not already in stock you have little chance of getting one built before the middle of June.
Thanks, I have seen a deal on a Ford Kuga which should be ideal for our needs. I'm awaiting a quote from the company and have arranged a test drive at 2pm on Sunday at the local Ford dealership. The other cars on the shortlist are the Kia Sportage, Hyundai Tucson or possibly a Renault Kadjar. All petrol with a manual box, not fussy on colour or options.
I thought I would update the thread having just ordered a Ford Kuga through Leaseshop with an estimated delivery of 28th June, so I’m hoping this will be bumped forwards rather than back, as PSA will not allow us to keep the Citroen for a few more weeks.
I found the deal through Leasing.co.uk as suggested on here, great tip.
