981 Boxster Spyder or Mercedes AMG GTS

Hi,

I’m looking for a new weekend toy. I’m finding the Boxster Spyder and Mercedes AMG GTS (Coupe) are fitting nicely into my budget. It’s a weekend toy for runs across the countryside in nice weather and the odd European road trip.

Two different animals, but I can’t decide between the two!

The Mercedes looks more modern, has a much nicer interior, more toys, quicker and more powerful and sounds great. It’s also something different to my 981 S I’m changing from.

The Porsche is going to be more nimble and track focussed. It’s rare and limited in numbers so may hold its value better. Roof comes off which is a plus. I’ve got used to the double clutch transmissions so need to see how I feel about the manual now!

What would you go for and why?

Would personnally prefer a Cayman GT4, but the boxster if i had a choice of that and the merc

I may do some track days, but I rarely get time.
