Whilst many say it is ugly I have always wanted (since children ruled out a coupe) a porsche panamera. Opportunity has come up to get either a 2009 turbo with low mileage in my preferred combo or a 2010 manual S again with low mileage in less desirable combo.

Which ever I go with I hope to keep for quite a long time.

Which would you go for? Heart says turbo but head says as only 3 manual panamera's sold in UK and they are no longer in production the manual may be a good investment car as well as fun to drive!

Any urgent assistance gratefully appreciated.

Can't see the appeal of a manual Panamera myself. Turbo is the one to have.

Edit: What am I saying...I thought about this again and I would go for the manual. I drive a CLS AMG-S and it's too fast and rarely fun, other than the noise. If it was manual it would be incredible.

Not sure what the 4-S sounds like, probably ok.

Damn I thought this was going to be easy but now I'm split.

There's a reason for that. Hugely undesirable.

Driven a few of these a couple of years back when I was car hunting and it is definitely a car that suits the auto box, i wouldn't even consider a manual one (that's coming from a lover of manual boxes) smile

Wha is your driving profile? I would go for the manual myself.

So we have gone for the automatic turbo - subject to Porsche doing a 111 point check on it! Thanks for all input. Still a difficult call to make!

Just hoping that as low mileage fact that 09 doesn’t cause too many issues!

It was the right decision.
