Cbt and microcar

Hi im new to bike world
Just got my bike cbt .and know ride 125cc
On l plates.but came across car could aixam 500 desiel.it says on advert in can be driven on cbt provisnal linence. Is this true ? 0r is it am full licence. I was told if it was under certain weight or desiel car it could be driven on cbt.
As its microcar. But worried as if buy it driveing a illegally. Very confuseing.
