Sports/Weekend car thats unlikely to depreciate?

Hey guys
I am london based and already own a small hatchback for when i go out of london, however i miss having a sporty weekend car and wondered if there are any smart buys out there to fill this void?
I would use it perhaps 1 weekend a month for a few miles, so almost no annual mileage, other than that itll sit on the drive at my parents home under a cover. Will be funding via personal loan so not looking for something that will loose much / any value so that if i decide to liquidate it I can clear any financing and move on.
My primary thought was a lotus exige / whatever lotus I can secure around the 25-30k mark, appreciate its not the time of year to be buying one so im just keeping an eye out for now, but wondered if theres any other interesting options ive overlooked, Im quite interested in Cayman's but they dont seem as special / more open to loose value over coming years still

A VX220 is unlikely to drop value any time soon and could probably get a low mileage Turbo with some money to spare.
Alternatively a nice Exige will also not lose much.
Bit leftfield here but what about a Clio V6? I've just left a deposit on one to sit alongside my Evora (coincidentally also another option for you to consider which is not going to lose much money)

Im not a big hatchback fan, i prefer the lower down feel of the coupes (sold my GT86 a few months back as i never used it though) The evora is a bit over my price range and they dont appeal to me as much as the smaller lotusA VX220 is unlikely to drop value any time soon and could probably get a low mileage Turbo with some money to spare.

Yeah the exige has been a dream car since I was a kid, seem they prices have ascended recently though and was concerned about buying at the top of the curve, considering waiting until the other end of summer when people begin to sell off summer toys, also need to decide if i should go for the S or if the regular model is enoughIf I was in your position it would be an Exige, or ideally a VX220 Turbo (VXR)
an alternative idea, if your only using it a dozen times a year max, and paying for it by a loan with interest. would it be cheaper/easier to rent a caterham etc for the odd blast?

I've had both an S2 Exige NA and a Cayman 2.9 gen 2 as weekend cars in the past. Both excellent in different ways, so decide on how you are going to use it. For the odd short blast on country roads out of London then the Exige is fantastic. It's a special car to drive when you really want to drive. For weekends away and European road trips the Cayman for me everytime. Brilliant cars and not boring like some suggest, just different to a Lotus. The exige has probably gained £5k in value since unsold mine, while Cayman is pretty stable price wise.
