Recommend a quick, fun, special, COMFORTABLE car please

Currently got a 2018 BMW M2 - the best car I have owned, by a mile, such an occasion to drive - if you haven't tried one, do it!
However there is a problem - the ride - not an issue for me usually, but I slipped a disc in my neck last November and the ride of this car really aggravates my neck.
So very begrudgingly, I am looking for alternatives, as per the title - budget, I'd like to pay under £20k but would consider up to £30k.
I'm open to all types of cars, I don't need space or back seats, over 20mpg. Must be fun, must be comfortable.
I'm switching between small newer cars (maybe uncomfortable?) and large older beasts (may be borkish?).
Not keen on Audi's, most VAG cars actually. I had a Leon Cupra which was brilliant, but not special in any way IMO.
Cars in consideration at the moment (odd mix I know);
2012 Merc CLS63AMG (or E63) - love a big shouty car but worried about bork
2019 Mazda Mx5 2.0 - always fancied one, but "special"?
2010 Jaguar XK or XKR - bork again?
2015 M5 or M6 - might have to push the budget though
2010 SL500
Some sort of Lexus - RCF/GSF?
SLK55 AMG - probably fits the brief best?
I think most small hot hatches would be too uncomfortable? Maybe one of the new larger ones? A Golf GTI looks good on paper, but special?
M3/M4 - less fun than the M2 but more comfortable
Any input would be greatly appreciated!!

I've a 2010 XKR convertible which fits your bill.
And no great bork factor involved either, main 'common' issue is weak waterpump and possibly a noisy coupler in the supercharger. Both relatively easy to sort. Everything else seems to be pretty much bomb proof (touch wood
).
Oh... and a bloody great car to drive too!

I will probably get slated for this
If the idea of a hot hatch idea appeals then the FK8 type r has a very comfortable ride, if you like the extreme styling (normally only people in real life do) then it's in budget and under warranty
I moved from a Merc E coupe and find it more special/an event to drive and just as comfortable

The CL500 (especially with a remap) & CL63 are great cars yes they're more GT but the air suspension & Dynamic Seats should see your slipped disc very cossetted while you make progress & they feel special despite me having an E500 coupe with the same engine the CL500 still feels like more of an event & the CL63 is another step on.

4.7 BiTurbo E500 these are rare very quick & very good cars (I'm bias as I have one) not M2 levels of communication but a very good car with the potential to be even better.

Thanks for everyone’s ideas, much appreciated
Test drove the new mx5, what a great little car. My neck was fine even with the sports suspension which was surprising. But it’s not for me, just a bit too small and compromised for me
Test drove a 2012 CLS63 AMG today. Spot on, had the dynamic seats with massage and loved them. It’s worth the 25k I paid for the start up noise alone!!
It’s a spotless pearl white car with black Nappa. Deal done, pick it up in 3 weeks as I’m out of the country for 2 weeks
Can’t wait!!
