Hi, i'm not really a car person so bear with me on this.

I currently have a 64 plate Insignia which i use to drive to work (50 mile round trip). It is also the 'family' car that we use when doing weekends away etc.

I have it on HP at the moment but think I have paid enough so i can hand it back to the dealer.

Like I said above, I'm not really a car person so think a lease may be a good option for me as i can get a new car for 2/3 years and not have to worry about too much. Am i right in thinking that all problems would be covered under warranty? I would probably do under 15k miles a year.

I'm happy with paying 3 months upfront and would like the monthly payments to be under £300.

The missus would like an SUV type thing for the space but she'll be fine with anything as long as the boot space is adequate.

Hoping i can get some suggestions of what i could get as the options seem endless!

I'm a simple man with simple pleasures and the only thing i would really like is for it to be a diesel and automatic. I love a nice interior and plenty of gadgets but these are 'nice to haves' rather than essentials.

Edit: I've just seen the AMG A250 deal listed in the lease thread. Is that a good option for me?

Thanks

Are there any particular reasons why you don't want to continue using the Insignia?

Other than being a bit bored of it, no. It's a nice car to drive but fancied something different
