Hello all,

Title says it all. Looking for opinions from everyone, owners and non-owners alike. I’d like a few female opinions if there are any lurking in the forum.

Which do people prefer and why? C63s coupe or Jaguar F-Type R (RWD or AWD - personally I like the AWD).

Also, what opinions do people have of the ‘types’ of people who drive these cars? C63s for younger driver? Jaguar for older driver? Etc etc

Thanks

I love the sound of the C63, it's like angry thunder and goes equally well. Not keen on the demographic that tends to drive them. I think Jag has moved on with its cars recently and no longer has quite the old man image it used to. The C63 could very well be the better car but the image would put me off, most people (of any age or gender) driving the F type look cool and not like they're trying too hard. Just my opinion of course, not sure what I'd get if I had a similar search.

I agree with you tbh. I find a younger demographic go for the C63. Most of them drive like looneys

I had an F-Type R two cars ago and just bought a C63S, albeit an estate.

What do you really want to know? I think most of the pros and cons are obvious.

Owning the Jag is seriously fun though - everyone loves it and you get a lot of positive attention. The C63 hardly gets a second look except from petrolheads.

My Mrs definitely preferred the Jag, I think she liked it the most of any car we've had.

Oh mine was a RWD and it was a fking handful, and a bit of a nightmare in the wet. If you test drive one and it has Pirellis on it, Michelins will feel like double the grip. If I had one again I'd get an AWD.

Both excellent from an engine and drivetrain point of view.

F-type very spec, colour wheel dependent to my eyes.
Most C63's seem to be black or white *yawn!

I couldn't live with the F-type interior though so on that basis I'd go with the C63.

cheers

The interior of my C63 rattled and squeaked more than any car or van I’ve ever owned, I’d take the Jaguar interior every time.

Second this. Albeit I have a C200 coupe and honestly the interior quality is crap.
