The Tesla Model 3 order form is now live, they're claiming June delivery if you order now?

https://www.tesla.com/en_GB/model3

Starting at £38000 for the 'Standard Plus' 264 miles range, although I believe the Standard is also able to be ordered from Tesla Stores.

Seems reasonably priced and looks decent from the front, quite Porsche like. The side profile, rear and especially the interior look pish. The interior is very odd. Like a cross between a basic car and my desk at work.

Can't disagree with any of this.

They're 42k but they assume you'll get the grant, so remember that when you're looking at one as that affects the VED.

Am I being thick or was there huge demand for this and 1000's put down a £1000 deposit for it?

If so how can you just order one now for June delivery?

Blimey, 0-60 in 3.2 seconds. Pretty big performance for the price.

Think that is for the Performance model, bit of a price premium over the entry level car.

Cos lots of people cancelled?

I wonder how much sustained demand there is going to be - there might well be lots, but if 200k people (or whatever the number is) wanted them in USA and they have supplied them all, it might be tricky selling the same number a week going forwards

Oops, you're right, 5.3 for the normal model.
