Is there a reason why the 335i ActiveHybrids are much cheaper than the normal 335i’s??
Quick check on autotrader and the cheapest 335i’s are all the AH models.
What gives?!
Relatively unknown mechanically complex vehicle which could chuck in a wallet raping out of warranty.Quick check on autotrader and the cheapest 335i’s are all the AH models.
What gives?!
Other than that no brainer.

I just had a quick look and they seem to be a similar price.....? I was interested to see what the ActiveHybrid was and it looks like your get far better mpg for the same performance and same price as a normal 335i?
Surely a no brainer?
The AH are around 2-3k cheaper. They are quicker then the the normal 335i due to the electric motor bolted on think with 55bhp more if I remember correctly but are heavier due to it to. Surely a no brainer?

Have you had any issues with it? Many forums make up there own folk tales about they will go catastrophicly wrong due to being “complex”. I however love the idea will definitely be on my list of cars when its time to upgrade for sure!
If you want a swift (0-60mph in the 5's) reliable hybrid then take a look at these:

i have a 335iAH. Very quick and great car. However had the hybrid battery fail after 6 years and unlike lexus it is only warranted for 5 years. BMW however did a goodwill replacement of the battery so can not complain. I think thats rare as the dealer had not seen it befoe and the tool for removing the battery had to be specially couriered in. Its a Q car much like the lexus GS450h which I had prior to that but better roadhandling. Great value for money now.
