Hi
Looking at getting a premium 4x4. Mainly ride height and Comfort. Needs to tow and family round a baby.
So far I’ve looked at q5, Touareg, evouque, an x5. It’s either buy out for 10-13 or pcp at 14-20.
Anyone had experience of all 3?
I love the Evouque. The interior is excellent my main concern is size. They aren’t the biggest.
Thoughts would be great.

It’s not on your list, but I am on my second Grand Cherokee, and it fits your criteria well.Looking at getting a premium 4x4. Mainly ride height and Comfort. Needs to tow and family round a baby.

My dad's on his second Evoque, they are very good cars but too many people are hellbent over the whole JLR reliability thing and the "image" of them. Put it this way neither of my dad's have put a foot wrong bar one or two minor electric niggles and it's a lot more interesting than a German SUV to both look at and sit in. My dad has looked at all of its rivals and none felt as special for the price as the RRE. You're right in that they aren't huge inside but it's never been a struggle for us, although there's no young kids as I don't live with my parents anymore and my sister is 14. If you have lots of paraphernalia to lug about then it might be tight.
They suit darker colours better, my dad has Loire Blue now and it looks a lot classier than his previous white one. He wouldn't have anything else and will be replacing the current 14 plate car with a new shape model later this year.
