Buying ex-hire car direct from hirer.

Some car hire companies are selling some of their cars direct to the public rather than back to car supermarkets or main dealers. Any one tried buying direct? is it much cheaper than the same 1 year old car from a main dealer (who probably bought it from a hire company anyway).

£22k beats anything else on autotrader. Some of their stuff doesn’t look like a good deal, but as with anything, I’m sure there are bargains to be had if you pick carefully.
