What sporty daily for 10k

I am looking for a new car. I think I might get around 4k-ish trade in for my current car an A3 S-line, maybe less. I think my budget will be up to 10k. I have various cars in mind that are quite varied from Hatches to Coupes. I do low miles probably 3-4k per year and would like a little comfort and a fun drive. I do not think I have really had a fun car and I am a bit of a sensible driver. I don’t do any track days or anything like that mostly around town and dual carriageways. I tend to like the look of the sportier models of cars, e.g GTI, ST, M series, S-line etc. Due to low miles I’ll stick with petrol. I also want to avoid any car that falls in the ULEZ charge or that fall into the high road tax brackets. Also I wouldn’t mind a car that’s easy to work on to carry out small easy jobs myself. Bluetooth to listen to my music would also be an bonus, I like features that make cars easier to deal with sat nav, parking sensors, cruise control but they are not an necessity.
Cars I have thought about include:
Fiesta ST 1.6 – Concerns, theft or attempts. I heard the drive is harsh, I haven’t been in one so I don’t know but I’m in London and regularly navigate roads with speed bumps and some potholes.
Fiesta ST Line 1.0 – Get the looks I like of the ST, cheaper in general than the ST, probably cheaper insurance and more mpg, maybe more comfortable in London streets, speed bumps and potholes. Not sure if they would be zippy about or not, and I might regret getting it over a ST.
GT86 seems to be holding it’s value so quite expensive or getting an older car, not sure if a lot more to insure due to there being less of them about. Read it’s not as “fun” to drive.
Renault Clio Renaultsport. I like the shape from 2014 onwards, I would probably get it in black.
Smart Car FourTwo – the current model (I wonder if I will find it to small, but parking in small spaces is enticing even though I don’t really experience that problem)
Polo GTI (My current car and my last car have both been Audis and getting anything from Audi service/parts/work just always feels like a complete rip off. Been think of stepping away from the VW world for my next car.
Seat Ibiza FR I like the look from 2017 (VW)
3/4 Series – I ain’t researched them thoroughly but generally like the look of the M series ones.
MX5 – not too sure or keen on them they seem quite low, but I guess that’s part of the fun of them, but how are they over speed bumps? Think I read the mk2 is a rust magnet also and I see the roof as another potential for a problem.
Abarth – I think this may be suggested so thought I point out that I don’t like the look of them.
If anybody can give there views on the above cars or suggest any other alternatives to think about that would be appreciated. I think at the moment I’m more leaning to the Fiesta ST.
