How to sell an RS3

As the family 'car dealer' it's my 'fortunate' position to have acquired the job of selling a fairly new RS3 with 10k on the clock. i think its one of the last ones/most recent spec and cost about £50k.
However, its one of the most expensive cars I've sold and its different when its a car of this value as people want fiance and trade ins etc. So, what's the best way to sell it?

Theres a company in Bristol called RS Direct, named as such as they started off buying Ford RS cars but they have now diversified into other marques, never used them myself but by all accounts they pay pretty good prices and they will collect the car from you wherever in the UK.
They have had Audi S and RS cars in the past so I think they would be worth a go.

Worth trying Fontain Audi too - I've sold a coupe of cars to them and they were fine. https://www.fontain.co.uk
Try motorway.co.uk, just sold my car (£10k rather than 50k but still above what most people would spend without finance etc) I qualified for their premium service, they found a dealer to buy the car from me and I got alot better price than wbac etc but not as much as a private sale, decent middle ground I'd say.
There were no fees etc and they must get their comission from the dealer.
Hassle free and no obligation, worth putting the reg into the site and see what they say.

He would if it was his car :-)OP, not sure why you should be put in a position by a family member when you're feeling uneasy about the responsibility.

I'm fine selling it, it's only with me currently because the last one was stolen and his wife doesn't want anymore people breaking in to try to get it. I have a gated home and garage so its pretty safe with me but fair points about scammers/thieves but i doubt I'll go down that route anyway.

Yep, I'd rather stick it on Tootle or directly sell it to an Audi dealer than chance it with potential hoodlums. Also I've never got more on WBAC - I find a week on Tootle gets you close to what a dealer will take it for a trade-in.GreatGranny said:
