Ideas on Something Nice for £10-12k

With the mortgage paid off and an upcoming payrise, I think it's time to get myself something nice. Well, in a few months anyway, but I'd like to start getting some ideas. I have a 55 mile daily commute which 99% motorways and NSL dual carriageways, so feels like I'm right on the point of petrol or diesel being more viable. Criteria:

At least reasonably economical.
Not going to fall apart
Good mid-range performance
Comfy seats and ride
Decent stereo
Enough space on the rears for booster seats
Cruise control and sat nav would be a big bonus


So far, the relatively sensible ideas would be:

Audi A5 2.0/3.0 tdi
E Class coupe 250/350
3 Series coupe
Octavia VRS estate
Volvo V70 D5


Less sensible:

Audi TT
GT86
Megane RS



Anything else I should be considering?

Jaguar Xf Sportbrake 3.0d V6 in at least Premium Luxury spec. Comes with the excellent Meridian sound system and many have been upgraded to Meridian Surround which is even better. You can tell by checking the speakers which will have 'Surround' also shown on the label.
