City car needed

Need to buy a city car as a pool car for the office and was wondering what people would recommend?

Went to see an Aygo and the Skoda Citigo earlier today and quite liked both - but am i missing something?

Needs Aircon, nav and rear sensors and prefer new and max £13k

You'd get something from the class above for £13k, I paid only a few hundred quid more for my Fabia Monte Carlo brand new a couple of years ago.

I'd personally be looking at a Fiesta for that money, although the Ka+ is very underrated and almost as big yet a few grand cheaper if you don't want to spend the whole budget. A Dacia Sandero, Hyundai i10 or Kia Picanto would work too.

Top tier fiesta for 13k, a few available for a little bit less. Not sure if it's got sensors though it seems to have a camera!

Ended up with a new Aygo today .. £500 down and £169 a month for 3 yrs.

Has all the toys we wanted like reverse camera, dab and screen mirroring for the nav.

Would have gone for electric, but can't put a charge point at work sadly

This. We purchased one of these, albeit a 2006 model for a couple of grand and it is utterly fantastic for bimbling around in. Very roomy, loads of boot space and when you put the back seats down you can comfortably fit two large German Shepherds in the back.

Performance won’t set your on fire, by any means, but that is not the point of the thing. Fuel economy on the 1.4 is excellent and they are a very fun characterful car.

Ours is called Herby. The number plate also makes us giggle. We have not yet grown up.

Mum had one of these and loved it. Replaced it with a Mk2 which looks better but doesn't feel as well built
