Morning all,

Hope this is the correct forum..! My Mercedes GLA is coming to the end of its term (pcp) and I am handing the car back due to the poor residual value!

Has anyone experienced how potentially picky BCA/Mercedes are? When I spoke to them they said all tyres need to be the same make and premium brands etc but the website doesn’t suggest what is ‘premium’ car is in very good condition so not expecting too much but just curious.....

Cheers,

Woza.

My Audi was returned 2 months ago as it was £5k in negative equity. BCA were fine - my car was clean and well looked after but had a big chip in the windscreen , one mismatched tyre as I had a puncture with a boot full of music gear so had to get a new tyre that was in stock. I also had a couple of marks as the car was black and every tiny scratch showed up. Condition was marked as A1 and nothing further to pay apart from excess mileage that I didn't argue about as my service plan refund covered it.

Anyone aware of what BCA are likely to charge for tyres if I do not replace before collection? 2 fronts specifically.

Probably more than it will cost you so change them & save yourself the extra expense.

Don't be trampy and change them.

Or don't. Maybe siphon the fuel out too, empty the oil and keep it for the next car. That sort of thing.
