BMW Z4M investment
Discussion
I'm of the opinion that a 50-60k mile car at around the £20,000 mark would be a better investment TBH. Not sure the very low mileage cars at £40k+ will do anything but hold their value.
I could see something like this appreciating steadily towards £30k over the next few years with minimal use.

I've had two Z4 3.0Si Coupes in the last 5 years, and sold my first one after 2 years and 8,000 miles for a few hundred more than I paid for it.
Realising I should have kept it I promptly bought another that I've had for 3 years and 12,000 miles that seem to be holding up in value - probably because it isn't doing too much mileage.
M models seem to be holding their prices quite well, but will take a hit if the mileage starts to climb. The really dear low mileage ones will probably only stay at high prices if not used much, and then what is the point of having one?
If you bought one in the middle of the price range and didn't do loads of miles (say 5K a year or so) you could hopefully sell for what you paid, but all the time you have it there will be the usual "M" model running costs that you won't recover.
