Hi guys, it's that time in my life where I need to spice up my life with a new car.

I've been staring in awe at some Audi a5's online, especially the S-Line Black Edition in Red. The one I've been looking at is a 2013 2.0 diesel but after doing some research I'm hearing a lot of stories that there's been many faults with these Audis and has been putting me off getting one.

I was about to get one the other day but I found out it's had a recall. Think its to do with the emissions scandal that was all over the news few years back. REG: SG63KPA

Anyone knows much about these cars that can give me peace of mind of either committing to buy or sprint away fast?

Cheers.

An Audi A5 diesel will not spice up your life.

What sort of mileage do you do? This should dictate whether or not you need a diesel.

Speed wise no it won't. But it does look truly gorgeous in my eyes.

I'll be starting a new job soon and will be doing a 40mile commute Mon-Fri (mostly motorway).

Was tempted by a 3.0 TDI 7speed auto. Great car to look at in 2-dor form. But they just don't seem special, might as well buy an A4.
