75K drivers car with enough space for two kids

I am looking for a drivers car, with enough space for two kids and reasonable depreciation.

Budget is 75K, but more than happy to keep a huge chunk of that.

At the moment I find myself looking at a low mileage pre-facelift Giulia Quadrifoglio.

Anything else worth looking at?

Nice dilemma to have.

I’d probably go for the previous gen Quattroporte GTS and a slush fund.

Panamera if a 911 is too small.

Is a Rapide in budget?

If the kids are small and won’t go in it all the time then nothing other than a 911.

If you need proper space then It has to be Alfa, M or AMG saloons.

I went for the M4 as I needed more space for the kids than the 911 offered. Not a fan of the Alfa QF despite many saying it’s the best drivers car, plus heard first hand terrible owner experience.

AMG (c63). Engine is a peach and interior feels class above BMW & Alfa. Other than that it was meh and too blingy...

M3/4 hit the spot. Best value, considered by some the best drivers car (in comp form), the best infotainment system (daily).

Good luck. It’s a nice problem to have, but whatever you do don’t spend anywhere near £75k on any of these performance saloons - they are simply not worth it and will be worth £40k in 2yrs! Buy lightly used and save a fortune - In feb I bought a ‘66 M4 with 5k miles for £39k.

When the kids are out of kids seats they will be shoved in the back of a 911. Regardless of how nice and how well these performance saloons perform they still don’t feel special enough to own IMO.

The problem with the 911 is it really isn't a comfortable experience for kids in the back and you have nowhere to put any of the paraphernalia you always end up taking everywhere with you either.

Alright for occasional use but far too compromised to use as a regular solution.

Another possible for < 50% budget, super practical and an event every time you drive it.
