shift/auto shift on steering wheel which cars

Mother is having trouble with arthritis in her left hand and the movement with the thumb and wrist in pressing in her the car's shift button and then moving it into drive or reverse etc.
Some Mercedes has the shift stick on the steering column which is just up and down (no buttons)etc which on the right hand which is fine for her - so apart from Mercedes are there any other car makers that do this?

I'm sure the Chrysler Voyagers and the E65 7 Series BMW had a column shift.
The Citroen C4 Cactus and new Honda CRV (along with some others probably, these are just the ones I've seen) have a push button selector on the dashboard, I know it would mean using the left hand but it would be easier than a shifter.

No button to press in (just one to click in or out for Overdrive), just column shift up and down between D,N,R etc... nice and easy, just need your foot on the brake pedal to shift between them.
As an aside, they are a great reliable little car... essentially a Yaris T sport underneath, 1.5l chain driven 1NZFE.
EFA - sorry just seen about the Left/right... tbh this may not be a problem if the ease of operation is enough, she could also potentially use her right arm and reach across.

You mention the button thumb/wrist combo being an issue - if the motion is ok without the button press then older Mercedes with the central gear selector don't have a button. thanks gents - its the position of the hand and pushing in the button to release the drive position. Her left hand is ok just not pushing button in and gripping and moving back - the angle if painful for her.
