Wait For The Perfect Car? Or Compromise

I've come across a car (435i Gran Coupe) that I think ticks all of my car buying boxes, with the exception of the fact that it has Ivory White leather seats.

I know they're not exactly the rarest of cars, but this one is well equipped, in the colour I want (Estoril Blue) and is a BMW AUC. I don't really want a black, silver, grey, etc car, I fancy something with a bit of colour. I'm still uhmming and ahhing over it.

I have concerns about how long-lasting the white leather seats will be, and whether they'll look tatty in a couple of years. Apart from that, the car is exactly what I'm looking for.

What would you do? Pull the trigger and just deal with the fact that the interior isn't what I would have chosen? Or continue searching for a car with the same spec, but with Estoril Blue or Snapper Rocks Blue and a black interior instead?

Or look into the effort and cost it would take to swap the seats out for another colour?

Buy it and enjoy. Unless you are a messy fker or wear denim regularly then the leather won’t deteriorate any worse than any other colour.

Just pay for the seats to be professionally cleaned. Maybe there is some protection they can apply too.

I was in a similar position two weeks ago, took too long to decide as it wasn't quite the one and now it's gone.

Nothing else in the AUC network is even close. I guess I'm in for a long wait or choose something else entirely.

I bought a 911 with metropole (dark) blue interior because everything else about it was right. I got to like the interior (more than black) over time but I never really fell in love with the car.
The interior is where you spend all your time so I think it’s really important you like it. If your only concerns are care/condition then perhaps it’ll be fine but if you have any doubts over whether you LIKE it, my advice is to wait. You know what’ll happen if you buy it and knowingly compromise- the perfect spec car will pop up two weeks later...
