Focus st-3 or Leon cupra

I’ve a 2016 Focus ST-3. Can’t see past it to be honest. Very pleased with it and I’ve had it since new. Can’t comment on the Leon but I was put off the marque after 4 years ownership of a 54 plate Cupra TDI.

Cupra will be faster with better traction in the dry, focus will most likely be more fun and definitely have better seats!

I will say though, you’re looking at the right year for the Focus. Mine has the older Sync 2 system fitted. I should have waited 6 months and got one with sync 3 and the apple car play etc.
I wouldn’t say traction was a problem at all. It’s certainly better than my 62 plate ST-2 I owned previously. Probably down to the tyres.

I prefer the way the ST drives & it would be my pick over the Leon but it's very close I think the Leon's interior is a bit nicer & of course it has the extra ponies

I'd say test drive both & see which one suits you best, but if you can live three doors then the RS Megane 275 Cup S would be my pick.
