Hi all

I’ve had EP3 civic for 6 years now. Now after 6 years and on 115k it’s probably time to get something new. It may not be goodbye to the civic but that’s another thread.

I have a budget of 10k and would like something fun, relatively reliable, and that’s about it really. Hot hatches do appeal for the added practicality bonus, but none of them really interest me that much. I do about 8k miles a year. Mix of commuting and personal use. Some work motorway mileage which they’ll give me 45p p/m for but not a lot as I tend to just get the train (civic is modified and awful on motorways).

I did have a stage 1 tuned megane 265 cup for a year from 2017-18 but I didn’t really like it that much. Can’t really put my finger on why but I never gelled with it I would quite like a TT but the tfsi horrors put me off.

I’m 6’4 so cabin space can be a limiting factor - otherwise I’d have an Mx5.

Not worth the tax cost imo. Plus 370Z aren’t quite in budget yet really, and 350Z is a bit dated now.

Wow they’ve come down a lot in price! Last I looked they were 14k+ Never been in or driven one but will see if there’s a dealer nearby with one to look at.

Some good suggestions. 370Z was another I assumed was out of budget
