Good evening,

I really need some help as I’m not sure what to do when my current deal runs out.
I have a seat Ibiza on pcp at £150.00 a month due to finish at the end of the year. I’m unsure of what to do in the future and if I get a 2 year lease or look at a used car? I have recently changed jobs and I’m travelling around 30miles a day mainly on motorways.

My main criteria is 5 doors and something fun to drive but reasonably good on mpg.

Ideally I don’t want to put down a big initial payment and I would like to keep monthly payments under £250.00 a month.

I’m not against hybrids but really want some good advice on my next steps.

218i MSport looks good value at the moment, £254 on a 3+23 lease for 8000 miles a year https://www.leaseshop.co.uk/car-leasing/bmw/2-seri...

You kinda missed his main criteria; 5 doors.

It depends on how many miles you will do each year on top of your rough 6k commute, how long you plan to keep the car and whether you want new? Do you have money to buy a used car? do you have £1k for a initial payment on a lease? Is the ibiza still meeting your needs? How much is it to buy the Ibiza at the end? Are your personal circumstances likely to change?

There are so many unknowns that it is hard to give specific advice. However all the advice you need is available with a bit of searching on these forums or the wider internet.

Sorry, overlooked the 5 door requirement in favour of good to drive.

Thank you for the help. Sorry I was a bit vague with my original message. I’m just really not sure what to do once the pcp runs out. I have enjoyed driving the Ibiza but I haven’t loved it. I have been seriously thinking of going down the lease option. Does anyone know of the money saving from petrol to diesel to hybrid??

Which has a pretty good guide here for comparing the 3, although some of their info is behind members only paywall annoyingly

There's a couple of recent deals, a Leon 1.5 TSI and Clio .9 for 4k total over 2 years, the Clio has no upfront payment, I think 170 a month for Clio.
