Dealer sells 1k cars with labour warranty?

Hi, we're looking for a cheap car, and found a used car dealer who sells cars as cheap as £895 with a labour warranty for life? The details are here: https://www.cfcars.co.uk/warranty

Is this one of those "too good to be true" situations? I know I'm being mean, hopefully this amount is allowed on here, but it just sounds unrealistic. I just can't imagine them happily doing a labour intensive repair (replacing a head gasket) for free on a car which was so cheap in the first place. My guess is that either the actual terms conditions are one massive exclusion, or they just outright refuse to honour it right? My common sense tells me to give this place a miss altogether, but I can't help the fact that the dream of reduced financial risk has been successfully planted in my head!

Is it even legal to advertise a warranty which clearly cannot be economically kept?

Do a lot of used car dealers do this? I tried googling the subject but didn't find much, the keywords have too many meanings.

Naturally, there are some people who are talented at negotiation, who will always get things their way, but then they can probably do so whether a warranty is advertised or not. Any thoughts on what to think about this?

I read it as there is no charge for the warranty and it entitles you to a fixed charge of £25 per hour, so not free labour.

Although this is unclear as it does say “we will not charge you labour”, maybe because the charge of £25 per hour is not called a labour charge.

been going 10 years, i'm pretty sure you can't say free and then charge 25 quid an hour.

I'm local and my friend bought a car from here two weeks ago, a mini. He got it home and a week later had an issue with the rad. They paid for parts and labour in this instance. Seem genuine so far

If I'm reading it right, a condition of maintaining the validity of the warranty is that all mechanical work on the vehicle is carried out by the supplying garage. So I think the £25 per hour is for servicing work and wear and tear parts replacement, rather than for warranty claims. They probably make enough from the regular service work and mark up on the parts they supply to maintain the warranty.

But, as another poster said, not the clearest terms and conditions I've seen!

Hes offering free labour on parts that are broken or faulty for the duration of ownership, and replaced by them.

Hes charging £25 per hour if you want servicing or general wear and tear maintenance done.

the labour warrenty is for 1.5k cars and above.
