Insurance Query

Evening all, Need some help and advice on the following plz

Currently have:

Golf GT TDI - On personal car insurance with 10 plus year no claims

Vauxhall Astravan - On commerical van insurance with 5 or 6 year no claims

If we were looking to sell the car and get a pickup instead that would also be under commerical insurance but would i need to start this with 0 no claims or is there some other insurance i can look at

No in most cases when looking to by something like a Ranger you're no claims will carry over.

but carry over from which vehicle? as only the golf will go not the van which is what they class a pick up as
