8k - Petrol - Automatic - Convertible

I have been given the enviable task of sourcing the above for a friend.
She's not keen on black or white and would prefer something German. She will be doing about 5000 miles a year.
M62 corridor would be ideal but we could go as far as the Midlands or Scottish borders for the ideal car. We're based near Hull.

I've seen this in the classifieds.

Anything newer seems leggy for this money.
Any buying advise on the SL would be welcome along with any other options.

Check the seals are clear as this can have a very adverse effect on the electrics in the boot as it's a 350 there won't be any suspension issues.
