Lease car damage - Insurance or hand back...
Discussion
As per title, what would be the cheapest way of getting by with the damage, reversed into a edge of concrete post, totally my fault but these Volvo parking sensors really are not the best, not a beep and then crunch

Could kick myself but my own fault. Car goes back in two months sooner if I can find something to replace it with, leased through Volvo (Santander).
It’s not cracked the plastic bumper but scuffed hard, I can’t find a copy of the Volvo cost guide.
Thanks.

I had someone hit my driver side door in a car park recently and drove off without leaving a note. 2 long thin creases in the door and paint damage down to the metal. I sent a picture of the damage to the lease company as it wasn't long before it went back in December and they gave me a price for the damage via email. It was £195 which is the top tier of the damage table for the doors (repair and repaint).
The guy that came to collect it said it doesn't really matter whether the damage is big or small they just generalise it into what needs doing at a high level (in this case repair and repaint) and then charge accordingly. I'd send pictures to the lease company and ask them for the price, in my case that was £45 above my insurance excess so taking that into account as well as having no claim it was a no brainer.
