Keep Saab or get s60 d5
Discussion
I have a 9-3 ss aero
Only paid £500 for it 2 years ago. Taken it from 120k-160k.
MOT is due Jan. Needs about £300-£500 spent to get it through MOT I reckon which includes service.
Clutch was done last year plus a few bits other bits. I’m tempted to keep it even though it only manages 38-42mpg on my 140 mile motorway commute.
Seen a few banger s60 D5 around £1k mark heard they are good. If it had 12 month MOT even more tempting.
What would you do?

You're disappointed with 40mpg from a big comfortable car like a Saab? Really? What is an ss aero by the way? Does it predate DPF filters if it's a diesel? If it does, I would see that as a positive and be tempted to keep it
“Sport Sedan Aero” I think. Sounds very economical for a 2.0 petrol with a turbo!I’d definitely keep that.
