Fun company car

Looking to get a company car instead of a van or pickup. Understand it will cost me financially but hopefully not too badly. I have a boring economical diesel so looking to add something fun.
Current front runner is the fiat 500 abarth, fun, cheap tax and a pretty good car apparently.
Does anyone have any suggestions or experience?

I had an old mini as my first car and loved it! I like a light small car that puts a smile on my face!

IMO not a looker though!
I had an old mini as my first car and loved it! I like a light small car that puts a smile on my face!
If you pay less than £15k and it’s over 15yo you pay your bik based on the original, new list price. And all maintenance/tuning etc is tax deductible.

Great idea, in reality driving the mini 400miles a week would get tiresome and I would miss the modern touches now! I never knew you could get classics as company cars though! OK so I do 400 - 500 miles per week, I will be driving to meet clients, I will need something reliable, smart and comfortable-ish.

My ltd company has two vehicles: a double cab transit custom that is comfy, quiet and does 45mpg and a mk2 RS2000

Would you want to drive 400+ miles a week in it though? the wipers are crap the cooling is crap and the cruising speed is low.Loved mine such a great first car!
i think you should check the differnce in cost between a commercial and a car, id raqther have a cheap van and actually own something i want for fun!
i know its oppostite ends of the spectrum but my mates has a 435d @ around £700 PM 60k car and a colleague of his has a pickup new merc that was around the same price after its been pimped up and its less than £200 PM they are both higher tax bracket though

I could get a truck no problem, but they are massive and boring to drive. I have driven small vans (berlingo) for the last 10 years and although very cheap and not bad place to be with DAB, Bluetooth etc they are not a car.
As for owning a nice car and having a van, my wife has our car doing 400+miles a week on country roads, she needs cheap reliable motoring in something that will get knocked, scratched and generally abused. Not in a position to add another car and a van, I mostly drive to sites, have meeting and drive to the office, I rarely carry anything bigger than my dog! We also have 3 other vans that can be used if necessary.

One of my mates got an Alfa Giulietta 1.4 TB for his company car and he loved it, maybe an option for you although have no idea on costs etc.
