I am looking at just buying one car from BCA for hopefully about £18,000, how much will I pay on fees to including everything? Thanks.

Buyers fee on £18k will be £916 inc VAT.

Mechanical Check Fee will be £63.

They will also want £26 to notify the DVLA for you.

A Gold card holder - requires the purchase of 12+ vehicles per year, will pay less than half the the buyers fee, mechanical check is reduced to £42 and dealers don't have to pay the DVLA fee. Platinum and Black card holders will pay even less.

There are services like Flipping Cars who will buy the car at auction for you for a fee, but it should still work out cheaper than buying direct from BCA.

The whole fee structure is designed to screw over private buyers.
