looking at buying a 5k focus just for work and seems a decent price, anything i need to watch out for buying MOD cars? from a local dealer whos doing the plates and paperwork etc.

Same as a hire car, some will have been babied, some thrashed mercilessly. I did 10 years in the RAF and drove various white fleet cars. Never did any receive any mechanical sympathy from me.

FTFY. Especially those fking Astra estates. Focus will have been ragged hard. Probably serviced, but ragged hard.

Avoid FFS lol there'll be hundreds of alternatives.

I did commercial insurance in the past and did a quote for a garage that serviced MOD vehicles - he said it was great as he had a constant stream of the same fleet in all the time where they'd been thrashed in exercises. These were pick ups with shot suspension etc.
