What's the safest way to pay for a car from facebook?

It's only a few hundred quid, but will get it moved up to me via shiply (i assume this is best, many ph'ers seem to swear by it).
But it's on FB marketplace, rather than ebay or autotrader, so what is the safeest way to pay for it? I assume its legit, he's selling several cars on his profile and it's a profile active for 9 years, so it doesnt seem like a nigerian prince offering me a ferrari for £900.
