Fleet Car with 2 previous recorded keepers
Discussion
A friend is looking at a 67 plate car with about 40K on the clock, looks straight enough, from a well established independent trader.
The dealer has sent him pictures of the V5 to do his own HPI check. The V5 is marked as a duplicate, dated August 2019 and the DVLA have confirmed its the latest copy. The HPI check showed the document date and reference don’t match, but the dealer said that’s normal for a duplicate V5.
The car is registered to Lidl GB c/o Zenith Vehicle Solutions. The unusual thing is the V5 shows 2 previous registered keepers, so Lidl are the third. Can anyone shed any light on how that might have come about? I thought it could have been a manufacturer pre-reg but that still leaves another keeper unaccounted for.
