Strange observations on nearly new car
Discussion
I’m about to purchase a 1 year old 10000 mile Passat from a main dealer, but noticed few things
1. New set of front Nexen tyres, done probably 5k. Could have been a puncture I guess
2. Bad judder / vibration under braking. Dealer checked today, warped discs and have changed them all round
Not sure if I’m being paranoid but both seem odd on such a young car.

It could well be that it's been sitting around. The corrosion can cause temporary or permanent judder.
However, if there is an underlying mechanical issue that is misaligning the discs, then a new set of discs might only make the problem go away temporarily. Can they agree in writing to warranty against brake judder?

It's had a hard early life, but that may not be a problem.
I replaced all 4 tyres with Rainsports that are better everywhere.

Nexens are fine in the dry but a handfull in the wet
Agreed. My used car came with a pair of almost new Nexens on the front. Shocking in the wet.I replaced all 4 tyres with Rainsports that are better everywhere.
