Drive the Deal

HI,
Anyone have experiences with Drive the deal recently? Looking at a Q5 and seen a very good deal. Received a call from DTD and they've quoted me a PCP deal which im very happy with. Local dealer wont go anywhere near matching it! They arent able to supply me with the written quote from the dealer until ive paid the £1000 deposit?! Is that not a bit risky??!!

I've bought using them before and have a second car on order via them. No concerns and very happy.

Not recent experience but have had two cars through them (last in 2015) and very happy with the outcome.

Just to clarify re the deposit, is the process i outlined correct?

I've used them several times, always been an easy process and will be contacting them again in the near future.

Pay deposit to dtd then the supplying dealer will contact you and confirm your spec, give you a ref number so you can track your order progress, keep you informed through the process
then when the cars ready will arrange for collection or delivery

I've never had any hard sell about gap, paint protection etc, just a stress free easy transaction.
