£6k car for elderly parents

My elderly parents are looking for a replacement car - any suggestions gratefully received. The criteria are as follows:
Must have:
- price up to £6k (maybe could be exceeded a bit for the right car)
- automatic
- rear parking sensors as a minimum
- easy access and suitable seat height
Good to have:
- front parking sensors
- reversing camera
- cruise control
It will used mainly for a mix of short and very short trips (<15 miles or so) but also for occasional longer journeys.
They aren’t keen on anything remotely ‘sporty’ looking (they thought a recent Fiesta hire car was ‘too boy racer’...)
Some initial ideas from me include stuff like a Hyundai ix20/Kia Venga.

I've just picked up a C3 Picasso for the wife, and a newer one would tick all these boxes I think?Must have:

I put my dad into a B-Max, the criteria was mainly an easy entry and exit of the vehicle, compact dimensions and decent drive in city environment.
Other models that came into consideration:
- Kia Venga
-Seat Altea
- Golf Plus
The Honda Jazz is an almost brilliant design, its just that the auto box is one of those annoying CVT's.

Thanks for all the suggestions so far - several here I hadn’t looked into yet. I’m thinking something with a torque converter (or CVT) auto is likely to be a safer bet so I think that rules out all VAG stuff and many Fords with the Powershift box.
My latest suggestion to them was this, but somehow I don’t see them going for it.

Update...they didn’t get to the Infiniti quickly enough as it was a while away and sold before they could get time to get there. In reality I think they would have thought it to be too big and unwieldy anyway.
They looked locally at stuff like a Venga, IX20, Jazz, Note and Swift - they were pretty close to going for a Venga or an IX20 (they weren’t at all keen on the Jazz or Note for some reason)...but then we gave some more thought to the type of journeys they will mostly use the car for now and decided something a little bigger and with a few more creature comforts would probably suit them better.
They looked at a CRV and a Hyundai SUV of some description but ruled things like that too big.
They’ve ended up with a petrol 2010 Civic 1.8 auto - facelift, so the torque converter transmission rather than the I-shift. It’s a fairly high spec one so I think stuff like the panoramic sunroof appealed to them.
They’re aware of the main downsides, being less then brilliant ride quality and visibility but were undeterred and given a limited selection of suitable other cars locally and a need to get something this week decided to go with it. It’s low mileage with annual Honda services regardless and good history so hopefully should give them many years of trouble free motoring.
