2010/2011 - Audi A7 tdi vs BMW 530d

Hi,
New to the forums after many many years.
Looking to buy a car with a budget of 11k max, ideally after a german mid-sized saloon.
Have been looking at the A7/530d and maybe even the A6 quattro.
Based on my budget, what are your thoughts and what should I consider? What is classed as high mileage for these type of cars?

Any thoughts/experiences wold be welcomed.

You can get one with sensible (see below) so why go for a high miler both are pretty reliable so maybe take a test drive to see which you prefer.
