High mileage newer cars

Hi all

Anyone with experience buying a high mileage newer car ? I've always bought 2nd hand cars with as few miles on as possible but having a look at some big diesel 5 series and A6 2012-2014 with 100k-150k miles. Most appear to be in great condition, FSH with only minor things on mot history. Anything really to worry about or a pretty safe bet ? A lot of car for the money.

I'd say it's about history and condition.
I'd rather have a regularly serviced, above mileage car than one that's low milage because it's been sat around for ages and been services every other year.

But, lots of car for the money also cost a lot to run, service and perhaps tax.
