Finally back on my feet after falling out with cars for awhile and I want to get something fun again for a daily. Currently drive a Mk2 Swift Sport which isn't bad but I want something a bit quicker/fun. My budget will be about 6k. A bit of criteria:

Manual
Petrol
3 Door/5 Door dont mind
Can live with daily
Average MPG (25-35), dont do that many miles
Normal Sized Boot - Swift a bit small
Prefer forced induction
My only car at the moment

Car history: Mk6 Fiesta ST, Mk2 Focus ST, Supra, Cerbera, Mk1 MX-5, Celica 190

Currently looking at an early Mk7 Fiesta ST as it suits my criteria but looking for other ideas.

Thanks

Megane RS250 Cup (why not treat yourself to the best drivers hatch)

208 GTI is a good alternative to the Fiesta:

I'd probably be looking for a facelift ST-3 Focus:

OK, so it's not forced induction and it's RWD but I'd be straight onto a BMW 130i - I just need to find the budget. rolleyes

Had an Focus ST before, the Megane looks nice, will have a look at those. The GTi seems boring, been in a mates and it was just average. Maybe a manual one.

I've had my 130i a couple of years nearly now, absolutely love it. I went for 5 door LCI and it's fine with the child seat in the back. Downside, I don't get near enough time to enjoy compared to when I first had it. You'll find one easily enough within your budget.

That's news to me - I didn't think anything 10 years old would be a theft target!

Maybe it's just as well I couldn't find one in budget and got a 330i instead. laugh
