Struggling to come up with a car suitable for our soon to be extended family.

Currently drive an F10 BMW 5 Series. 1 child in a car seat the other now doesn't require one and there will soon be another addition so require seating for 3. Also find that as i have long legs the person sat behind the drivers seat has only about 6 inches of legroom!!

Started looking at cars with the extra seats in the boot but only the Tiguan Allspace would really be affordable and have read on here that many people don't end up using the extra seats instead just seating the 3 across the back.

Now started looking at large estate cars such as Audi A6 or Volvo v90. Happy to seat the eldest in the middle if i can find a car with enough rear space (especially legroom!) so far most seem to have large transmission tunnels and not much of a middle seat.

Also considered a Tesla Model 3 due to the flat rear floor but dont think the car will be big enough for 3 kids and buggies etc.

Anyone got any advice/suggestions??

thank you

We have a 2015 Honda CR-V DTEC which is huge! Flat floors, wide opening doors, big boot. Does 50mpg. Dynamically, does nothing for me but is very practical.

VW T5 ?

This was the route 2 of my friends took when they had kids and all the stuff to lug about.

Yes they are £££'s but they hold on to their value really well.

Skoda Superb has the most amount of rear legroom this side of a LWB S-class!

Cheers,
