Alternatives to Lexus IS Saloon 200t Sport 4dr Auto 2.0

Hello,

Looking at these I've noticed there is not many around on Auto Trader? and of the one's available many are white...

Is there a catch with these engines? I like the idea of the IS250, but possibly not the MPG's hence I started looking at IS200's.
They seem fairly well speced up and if some of the older models have anything to go by, then they appear to be bulletproof?

Possibly a bit of scope creep at £14k.. was looking close to £12k and then possibly £10k... but hey, that's Pistonheads right?

They're good cars as you've probably worked out they sold in small numbers they go well & are decently spec'd.

The obvious alternative is the 2.0T Q50 Sport Tech: These come with everything inc Adaptive Cruise etc

If you can live without the Adaptive then a normal Sport model will be fine & you'll be closer to your original 12k budget:

Due to them selling in such small numbers take the fuel figures with a pinch of salt, if you expect a real world average of 35mpg then you won't be far off.
