Does anyone know what the “Sport” designation means on a ForFour?

I’m choosing between two “Prime” cars for my wife; one’s “Sport” and one isn’t.

I know that the sport one has paddles, is that the start and end of the difference?

Looks like it's just a cosmetic change.

Steel Pedals , 16 inch wheels and a chrome exhaust.

I swear they are completely missing the point of what sport used to mean.

If you look at the Suzuki swift sport compared to the normal car you see.

1.2l > 1.6l
92bhp > 136bhp
103mph > 121mph
15% Stiffer Rear Suspension
30% Stiffer Front Suspension
Extra 6th Gear
Lightened Flywheel
17 Inch Flowformed Alloys
15mm closer to the ground

As well as all the usual body kits , xenon lights , aluminium pedals , double exhaust and more that you would expect from the fun model.

This is what sport is supposed to mean..

So, as you say, nothing “sports” at all then.

I messed up yesterday, after an hour’s journey to buy a non ”Sport” spec I got in to find it was a manual, which my wife doesn’t want.

I’m off to see another today, this time with the “Sporty” upgrades, but I just need to take what I can find now, ai don’t have the time to trail around looking at any more.

It'll be just a spec with a few fancy sporty looking bits on it, it won't be "sporty" in the slightest!

It doesn’t have to be a track-prepared special, it’ll be fine as long as it’s a better sports car than my R8, SL63 or Abarth 595...

The Prime Sport added 16inch wheels, 185/50/16 front and 20/45/15 rear, sports suspension, chrome tip exhaust, black plastic trim above wheel arch. I think that was it. All Prime versions they all came with heated leather, climate control, cruise, speed limiter, and a few other bits. Try and get one with a comfort pack as it added electric mirrors, height adjustable seat belts, adjustable steering column
