Hello again!

This is the second installment of Market Watch where we take a look at the BMW F10 M5 in the used car market!

If you missed the first installment on the E60 M5 you can find that here:

https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&...

BMW F10 M5 (2011 - 2016)

Notes:
  • All data is based on early December 2019.
  • Almost 200 M5 classified were used to compile this data.
  • Each dot on the graph represents a used F10 M5 for sale.

Model Variants:
  • Base = Standard Model
  • Performance = Same performance as a base, matt paint finish and exterior changes, limited production
  • Competition = An improvement on Base in every way, basically a F10.5

F10 M5 Pricing by Model Year

F10 M5 Pricing By Model Year (all variants)

F10 M5 Pricing By Mileage (all variants)

---

F10 M5 Model Year / Price / Mileage - Best Deals

  • Each circle represents a used F10 M5 for sale.
  • The size of the circle indicates the mileage - small circle = low miles, large circle = higher miles
Free tip: I highlighted a specific advert due to an attractive price-mileage-year ratio. I found the car here:
https://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201...

---

Average F10 M5 Price in December 2019
2011: £21,506
2012: £23,967
2013: £24,074
2014: £27,582
2015: £29,302
2016: £33,879

Remember, this data can only tell us so much so treat it as a guide - the cheapest price shown on the graph may not be a healthy car, missing service history, or poverty spec etc - be sure to read the PH buyers guide.

That said, the F10 M5 is a monster of the car for the money!

Feel free to discuss, In January I'll be back with results for the M3/M4 and then moving onto Audi or Mercedes performance cars.
