I bought one as my daily car in January last year. 2010 C180 CGi. Saloon Auto. 1800 with Turbo . Previous car was a W203 200 Kompressor estate and the newer one is faster and much more economical . I average 30MPG running around locally with 40MPG plus on a run. A trip across the country last summer saw an average of 45MPG at motorway ( ish ) speeds. Comfortable and fast enough for daily use, and no expenditure needed in 8000 miles.

Sounds good, im tempted to pull the trigger on a 2011 estate for £6500

I've always thought they look quite smart cars, are there any major pitfalls to worry about and are the autoboxes reliable with high miles?

Are those the engines with the dodgy timing chains/sprockets? Also recall ignition lock issues were a thing.
C250 CGI looked good, but rare.

I rent a workshop on a farm and the old boy (90) has owned a 2012 C250 AMG Sport Plus from new

Its only done 20k miles and been serviced at MB every year regardless

Good spec too - pan roof and command nav.

Its got the 1.8 T engine and its as smooth a slik and lovely and punchy for what it is.

Unfortunately the old boy is in hospital and his daughter has asked me to ty and move it on for them.

Worth a punt at 11k?

Alternatively if anyone fancies it let me know - it really is like brand spanking new!

I’ve got a AMG sport plus too but only a C180. Is a nice place to be, and the only thing I’d bemoan is a lack of grunt so a c250 should be good.

I'd be interested for around that mark. Been looking for a new car. Can you send through any other details you got.
