£2000 fun daily driver

Hey,
In February I will have been driving for 2 years, this means that my insurance will drop a decent amount.
I'm looking to get a new car to replace my 2003 fiesta zetec 1.4.
I've done some insurance quotes and things like the ep3 civic and a clio 182 are now reasonable to insure!
I have a budget of around £2000 to buy the car with, I was hoping to see if you had any advice on which cars you'd recommend.
I don't have too many requirements, the only one is i need 4 seats or more, I have a car lift installed at my house so most repairs should be fine to fix but I'm hoping to not have to fix my car all the time or for the parts to be very expensive like a bmw 7 series.
If the car is more than £2000 then I'm happy to save and get a better example but no more than £3500 if i can help it.
So far I've been looking at:
-Fiesta st150
-clio182
-civic ep3
-and various other hot hatches
I'm open to all suggestions

EP3 is the one in this price bracket. But as nice as you can afford and enjoy.
If you can find a good one for £2k is the issue... when I looked all 160k+ miles without replacement chains (which commonly stretch and rattle etc)Personally I went for a 182 with the same budget idea for a fun little station car alongside my Noble, it's a great little car to be honest.

I'm starting to think the answer is a 182, everyone on PH seems to love them
Mitsubishi colt CZT if you can find one. not the fastest in the world but the little turbo 1.5 is a fantastic little engine. Tunable too if thats your thing.
Very rare too, only 1 on ebay right now. won't handle as well as a civic but is very pratical given its size and still a hoot to drive.

I'd second the Celica. I had the t sport and it was one of my favourite cars, sold it for 1500 quid 5 years ago and I think values have risen slightly since.
Another belter of a car I had was the Ford Puma 1.7. it was incredibly good fun to drive and because power is not huge you could really rag it quite safely. Loves to rev, handles great and the gear change is snickety snick. Of course they do rust badly but nowadays most of the rotten ones are long gone and your 2k would buy a minter that's been loved and looked after.
