BMW 3 Series health check

I am buying a used 3 series from a company based in Milton Keynes and just looking for best way might be able to get someone to give good look over after buying. Do you suggest going to BMW to do this ? Or should I just go to local garage. I Live on the south coast so want it checked prior to bringing it all the way back ideally.

Any ideas how best to do this ?

Can't you pay AA to do an inspection for this sort of thing?

Edit - just realised you said after buying. wouldn't you be better getting it fully looked over before handing over your money and it being your responsibility?

Yeah that’s a good point. I am looking into getting a pre inspection done but any idea on who would be good for this ? Seen a website called click mechanic who do it for around £150. Not sure if them or someone else would be better ?
